   JILAS Sportswear is active-wear that was inspired by my faith in God and in response to inquiries by young people.
In 1994, I had a desire to do something to motivate inner-city youth and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ: therefore and I purposed to put together events designed to achieve that goal. The first event was Jumpers for Jesus(3 on 3 basketball tournament ) which engaged the youth in positive competition while learning about the love of God, self-respect, and respect for others. This event later grew into an annual family event.
   As the participation in Jumpers for Jesus increased, the requests from the youth for sportswear and logo that identified with their belief. I realized that the answer to their inquiry was in the very fibers of why we had started the event initially (to share that Jesus Is Lord And Savior.
   As I looked at that statement of faith, I took the first letter of each word and formed the logo JILAS. In 1998 I registered the logo. After many years of using the JILAS logo exclusively for the Jumpers for Jesus basketball tournament and receiving tremendous feedback about the t-shirts and if they would be available for purchase, I decided to offer JILAS sportswear to the public in 2015.
    Our goal is to provide a quality, yet affordable line of active wear for all, with the ultimate goal of sharing the Gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
